Getting here

Common Ground is in Fairfield, in Melbourne’s inner north, a few minutes on foot from Fairfield station on the Hurstbridge line. The Station Street shops are around the corner, and the Darebin and Yarra parklands are close by.

The details

By train

Fairfield station is on the Hurstbridge line, a short trip from the city. From the platform it is a flat, few minutes’ walk to the studio.

By bike or on foot

The Main Yarra Trail runs past Fairfield, and the Darebin parklands are close by.

Driving and parking

Street parking nearby can be busy, so allow a few extra minutes to find a spot, especially on Saturday mornings.

Getting in

The front door is step free from the street, with a chair just inside if you would like to sit while you wait. The quiet room is there for waiting too.

What should I wear?

Whatever is comfortable. For a massage you stay covered with towels and a blanket; for the class, bring soft layers and socks. Shoes stay by the door.

When should I arrive?

About five minutes early, so there is time to settle. If you are running late, let us know: we still finish on time, so a late start means a shorter session.

Can I change or cancel a time?

Yes. Let us know as soon as you can and we will find another time. If you are unwell on the day, stay home and rest.

Hands supporting a forearm

I have an injury or a health condition. Can I still come?

Usually, yes. Tell us before you book or at the start, and we will adjust what we do. If you are unsure whether a session suits you, check with your GP first.

Need a hand?

If something here doesn’t answer your question, or you would like anything arranged before you come, send us a note.
